Bookings for Hyundai Creta Commenced Ahead of Launch

According to the market report, Hyundai Motor India Ltd. (HMIL) has commenced the bookings for its upcoming Creta compact SUV in India before making its way to the showrooms on July 21, 2015. Let's take a look over the variants and features, we have already told you previously that it will be available in total six trims, Base, S, S+, SX and SX(O), with impressive features. Its top end SX(O) variant receives front, side and curtain airbags, ABS, EBD, VSM, ESC, HAC, Automatic AC, a supervision cluster, smart entry with an engine starter button, a 7 inch touchscreen AVN system comprising reverse camera and 17 inch diamond cut alloy wheels.

Under the hood, the Hyundai Creta will get petrol as well as diesel mill options. The oil burner version is powered by a 1.4 litre CRDi and a 1.6 litre CRDi units, while the petrol model includes a 1.6 litre Dual VTVT units. A 6-speed manual transmission will be offered on all the variants and a 6-speed automatic gearbox could also be introduced in the SX variant powered by a 1.6 litre diesel engine.

Reportedly, around 5,000 units of the Hyundai Creta have been targeted to be sold out each month in the national market. Hyundai will make the appearance of this vehicle in India as the biggest opponents of Renault Duster, Nissan Terrano and the upcoming Maruti Suzuki S-Cross between the expected price range of INR 8 Lac to INR 12.5 Lac.
