Cars to Deliver 18.2 km/l in India, Strictly from April 2017

The Indian car market is growing with very high-speed and hence the development is taking place in every aspect of the car like safety, features, looks and others as well. As the car volume is increasing day by day on the roads, the government is also taking interest in offering better amenities to the people. The recent step taken by the highest authorities after making the use of ABS mandatory in heavy vehicles and banning 10 years old diesel cars in Delhi is ensuring that Indian citizens do get healthy mileage from their cars.

There has a rule been passed according to which, all the new cars from April 2017 are mandate to deliver a minimum of 18.2 km/l and by the same time in the year 2022, there is possibility of making this number 22 km/l. Well, I must say that after this rule comes into action, the SUVs and luxury cars have to work hard, but the sales will definitely boost up.

After implementation of this rule, India will stand among the elite nations like Germany, US, China and Japan, which already have this rule for the cars. The government is also thinking about bringing up more mandatory features for safety after the failure of cars like Maruti Suzuki Swift and Datsun Go in the crash test.
