Another chunk of new products made their debut on the second day of the Auto Expo, including the new Chevrolet Colorado, a mid-size pickup. The American brand remained tipped-lipped about its launch in India. Colorado made an eye-catching impact over the masses from its orange emulsion with strokes of black here and there. Basically, the motto behind its production is to provide customers a mid-size truck, which is portable to carry loads.
Mechanically, three alternative engines are there in the new Colorado, in which, two are the petrol ones, having a 2.5L and a 3.6L V6 units and one is the diesel engine with a 2.8L unit. Power output generated from the 2.5L four-cylinder engine is about 193BHP while the peak torque is of 253NM. On the other hand, the 3.5L motor churns out 302HP of extreme power with 366NM of peak torque.

The 2.8L diesel engine unit, is the fresh part added in the line-up that delivers a power of 181HP at 3,400 RPM and a torque of 500NM at 2,000 RPM. All the trio units are paired to a six-speed gearbox.
Apart from the power-specs, the new vehicle flaunted with a new bumper structure, EZ Lift-and-Lower tailgate, two-tier loading, thirteen standard tie-down locations all through the bed, bed rail and tailgate defender.
