Chevrolet has introduced the Trailblazer SUV at the 2016 Auto Expo. Revealing all the specs of the vehicle, the company aims to target the Indian SUV segment. However, this the second time when Chevrolet is showcasing the Trailblazer model. Last year, In October, the SUV made its debut with a starting price of INR Rs. 26.4 lac. Moreover, the company has planned to bring a single 2WD model to the Indian market.

Exterior of the trailblazer is familiar and comes with the similar standard dual-port grille, along with projector headlights in the front. The rear portion also gets LED taillamps with chrome accent. From inside, Trailblazer is packed with some modern features like Chevrolet’s MyLink 7-inch touchscreen with pre-installed satellite navigation system, wireless connectivity, and reverse parking camera using sensors. Under the hood, the SUV comes powered by a Duramax 2.8-litre, 4-cylinder engine that churns out a maximum power output of 197bhp at 3,600rpm and a peak torque of 500Nm at 2,000rpm. The engine comes paired to a 6-speed automatic transmission.
Chevy’s Trailblazer is likely to rival with some prominent SUVs like Mitsubishi Pajero Sport,
Ford Endeavour, Hyundai Santa Fe, and Toyota Fortuner. It also comes loaded with premium safety features like electronic stability control, dual-front airbags, ABS+EBD, and traction control.
