It was just a month ago, when Nissan owned Datsun has brought up its entry level hatch in the Indian car market and it’s going really well. After getting favorable response from the Indian buyers, the car is now headed towards the other auto market. The automaker’s official dealership in Nepal, Pioneer Motocorp announced the launch of the car that will be available in the price range between NPR 13,99,000 to NPR 18,49,000.
The entry level small car is based on the same Redi-Go concept, one which was showcased at the 2014 Indian Auto Expo and will be available in five different shades namely White, Grey, Silver, Ruby and Lime. In terms of the dimensions, it is measured 3429 mm in length, 1560 mm in width, 1541 mm in height and a wheelbase of 2348 mm. Apart from these, it has also come up with a best in class ground clearance of 185 mm.

Over to the details, it comes with the conventional tall boy design, a short bonnet, large hexagonal honeycomb grille, sweptback headlamps, LED daytime running lights and much more. At the time launch, the company said, “Redi-Go suits Nepal's road condition and focuses on three aspects of riders-fun, freedom and confidence."
Under the hood, it would be powered by the same iSAT (Intelligent Spark Automated Technology) based petrol engine that has a displacement of 799 cc and generates 53 Bhp of power at 5678 rpm and 72 Nm of torque at 4386 rpm. A 5-speed manual transmission is also mated to the engine. Moreover, it also returns a great fuel mileage of 25.17 km/l on highway.

At the time of launching Datsun Redi Go in Nepal, Sandeep Sharda, Managing Director of Pioneer Moto Corp, conveyed, "The Redi-Go aims to redefine the entry level car segment with its unique offering that combines the roominess, best in-class ground clearance and sheer fun of a crossover with the zippy driving and fuel efficiency of an affordable compact hatchback."
