The upcoming Delhi Auto Expo 2016 is going to be a grand event which will take place at the India Expo Mart. The venue has been re-designed to make it more superior with additional facilities. Earlier, it had only 8 permanent halls spread in an area of 27,648 square meters along with temporary arranged portions measuring 32,400 square meters. However, this time the place has been added with two massive halls with carpet areas of 25,000 square meters and 12,240 square meters respectively. The halls have been furnished with proper power supply and air conditioning facilities.
The newly constructed halls get concrete flooring and the 6 meter tall wall bricks are covered in PUFF sheets, which will maintain the temperature of the hall in all types of weathers. As opposed to the 5.3 meters tall walls, the new ones get a side height of 10 meters and center height of 13 meters. The construction has been carried out in such a way that there is enough breathing space for the visitors and guests. After all this re-construction, the venue has turned more spacious with the overall area extended by 4840 square meters.
These halls get an uninterrupted power supply with maximum capacity of 25 MW. There are two parking lots P1 and P2, where a total of 10,000 cars/bikes can be parked at a time. The venue also has wheel chair facility, free entry and a Wi-Fi hotspot with considerable enormous bandwidth. Safety will be ensured by the presence of CISF, private guard, local police and CTV camera surveillance consisting of 180 cameras covering the whole area. Besides, there will also be PCRs, sniffer dogs, body vehicle scanners and equipments for safety against fire accidents.
