The Avengers Return : Few differences between the old and new Bajaj

The new year has brought in some good news for the Bajaj Avenger lovers. With a stylish makeover and added new few features, the makers have tried to give a fresh new appeal to Avenger Cruise 220 and Street 220. We bring you five important changes that the new version will boast of.

Flairy Graphics with New Paint Schemes

The new paint schemes and graphics render a fresh look. The Cruise 220, thanks to ample use of chrome, retains the classic look. Street 220 with its blacked out components gets a sporty makeover. The Cruise 220 adorns only glossy paints – white and black, while the Street 220 is available in two options matte paints – black and white.

Newly designed headlamps and windscreen

In tune with the mood of GEN-X, the newly designed headlamp and the windscreen add spark and more aerodynamics to the earlier simple Avenger 220. The Cruise 220 sports an inverted triangular headlamp while the Street 220’s gets oblong shaped headlamps. New features include LED DRLs for both bikes. Cruise 220 gets taller and more aerodynamic windscreen. The sporty Street 220 on the other hand, gets a small flyscreen.

Digitized Console

Borrowing from Dominar 400 the two bikes get dual digital displays. The main console also gets a digital display but retains the round shape. Tell-tale indicators are integrated on the fuel tanks. Stable Ride on Bumpy Roads To improve ride quality, the rear suspension travel has been elongated by 12 percent.

Happy price tag

Last but not the least, the ex-showroom price for the Avenger Cruise 220 and the Street 220 is expected to be Rs 92,954 (ex-showroom). The increase in retail when compared to that of the previous model is only around Rs 600.
