Drive Volvo V60 without Driving It

I'm pretty much sure that you're in shock after reading the title and very eager to know that how you can actually drive this Volvo V60 without driving it. What's in there to make that possible? Well, if you're a car enthusiast, then you must be having an idea that matches with mine, that is an auto pilot driving mode. Yes, the Swedish car manufacturer has overcome the non-possibility of such a car and its new V60 car will come equipped with an auto drive system, that by engaging allows the drive to sit freely and let the car control itself in any possible situation like traffic or signal lights.

However, there would be just 100 such model of the car available for sale for the real world testing, but it still is definitely an achievement. This Volvo V60 has the name 'Drive Me' that justifies its feature at utmost limit for sure. The car made its appearance at the LA motor show a few days back and will be launched in the Gothenburg, Sweden. There had been rigorous testing of this car that involved 50 KM run into the traffic on auto pilot mode as well.

At the LA motor show, Volvo Cars' Eric Coelingh said that “The public pilot will provide us with a valuable insight into the societal benefits of making autonomous vehicles a natural environment. Also, co-operation between authorities, customers and the car maker is the key to a successful implementation of self-driving vehicle.”
