DSK Benelli Launch Scheduled for March

The DSK Motowheels is currently branding for another Italian motorcycle manufacturer, named as Benelli. The DSK Benelli was being introduced in the country in the year 2014. The firm has entered the Indian boundaries officially last year, but hasn't launched any of its products. The Italian has announced 5 Superbikes for Indian line-up carrying minimum displacement of 300cc and it goes up to 1130cc engine displacement. The Indian product line-up includes TNT 300, TNT 600i, TNT 600GT, TNT 899 and TNT 1130. The firm has changed the names of the motorcycles and offered a TNT range of motorcycles for the country.

Benelli TNT 1130

All these 5 motorcycles from the DSK Benelli will be making their availability at the 8 new dealerships of the Italian firm located in the major cities of the country. The major cities include Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Bangalore, Pune, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad and Chandigarh. For the first year, the DSK Benelli has announced a minimum number of 20 outlets for the Indian customers. That means, apart from these major cities, some of the Tier II cities will also get glorified with the dealerships of DSK Benelli.

Benelli TNT 300

The minimal displacement engined motorcycles, i.e. TNT 300, TNT 600i and TNT 600GT will be landed over the Indian ground as a CKD (Completely Knocked Down) kit. These three motorcycles will be brought down from the China. And, the motorcycles will get assembled at the DSK Motowheels facility located in Wai, Pune. The remaining two super bikes, i.e. TNT 899 and TNT 1130 will get imported via the CBU route. The TNT 899 and TNT 1130 will be coming towards India directly from the DSK Benelli's manufacturing plant located in Italy.

Benelli TNT 899

The DSK Benelli will be offering these motorcycles carrying a starting price tag of Rs 3.5 Lacs and it goes up to Rs 14 Lacs (Ex-Showroom). The DSK Benelli is expected to sell on an average 3000 units per year. Currently, the Indian Two-wheeler market is having a quite good ratio of Superbikes sold out each passing year. Now, let's wait for the DSK Benelli to launch its products in the country; we'll see the change in the direction of the wind.
