Bookings for the Hyperstrada 939 and Hypermotard 939 has been started for an index amount of INR 2 lakh. Ducati has made both the models Euro IV compliant of the older 812cc models and will get a more powerful engine of 937cc displacement.
We’ll get to see both the bikes built on an identical tubular trellis frame when the skin gets stripped off. The much-noticeable update is the inclusion of an upgraded engine in the chassis. Respired by the Testastretta L-Twin engine, the bike is now able to deliver a power of 112BHP with 98NM of torque output.
On the aesthetic front, the Italian marque must be applauded to keep the liveries of both the monsters sporty and vivacious. Inspired by the automaker’s racing line up, the handguards will now get LED indicators.
Heading towards the technical section, the Hyperstrada, and the Hypermotard will feature as LCD instrument console and a new exhaust canal. Electronically, it will be garnered with Bosch ABS system as well as traction control. Three riding modes include- sport, touring and urban, which are controlled by the drive by wire throttle. Moreover, the former will be blessed with a couple of other utilitarian attributes such as touring screen, comfortable touring seat, passenger grab-handles, center stand, side luggage, engine sump guard, two auxiliary 12v power exits, and remote rear suspension pre-load adjuster.
The Hypermotard 939 will be available with two color options, namely, red and star white silk, while the Hyperstrada 939 gets just a red paint scheme. Expect the price to be enhanced by INR 50,000 for both the variants.
