Ducati Launches Multistrada Enduro in India at INR 17.44 Lakh

The italian performance bike maker, Ducati has launched its brand new Multistrada 1200 Enduro in the country at INR 17.44 Lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). This more advanced iteration of the standard Multistrada 1200S is Rs 40,000 costlier than the litre class adventurer touring motorcycle.

Mainly focused to off road touring, the Multistrada 1200 Enduro has gone through a lots of technical and mechanical updates. It rides on spoke wheels wrapped with knobby pirelli tyres to perform on to the uneven surfaces. The front wheel get bigger 19 inch wheel with the increased suspension travel of 200mm and the increased wheelbase by 27mm.

Aesthetically, this adventure touring bike comes featured with LED cornering lights to illuminate the road on corner entry and a vehicle hold control system that applies brakes to simplify uphill starts. Moreover, to offer a rugged look, the bike gets aluminium side panels, massive fuel tank and extended front ‘beak’ to match up with the larger tyre.

On powering, the Multistrada Enduro gets an Euro 4 compliant Testastretta DVT L-twin engine with the displacement of 1198cc. The equipped motor is capable to belt out 160bhp of power and 136 Nm of torque. As Ducati claims, the Multistrada 1200 Enduro can run over 450km with the 30 litre fuel tank fitment. Made to perform on to both off-road and on-road, the new Multistrada 1200 Enduro shares ride-by-wire throttle and riding modes from the Multistrada 1200S. On rivalry, it will lock horns with the already available Triumph Tiger Explorer, BMW R 1200 GS and the Aprilia Caponord 1200 Rally in the litre bikes segment.
