The Italian automobile manufacturer, Ducati, has started dispatching the recently launched naked motorcycle, Monster 821. The motorcycle will be reaching to the dealership showrooms located in the United Kingdom. The naked motorcycle will be making its appearance in two models and three different paint schemes.
The Monster 821 will be coming along carrying different price tags according to the bike's livery. The motorcycle painted in Dark Black variant is priced at 8,795 GBP (Rs 8.96 Lakh) and the Star White Silk and Red livery will cost 8,995 GBP (Rs 9.17 Lakh).
The naked version bike had made its entry as a mid-sized motorcycle and it is highly tempted from the elder brother, Monster 1200. The motorcycle is built around the same trellis chassis, which have been exposed to give this motorcycle a naked look and it was being used in the 1200 also. The Monster 821 will take its power by a liquid-cooled 11-degree Testastretta engine, which gives an engine displacement of 821cc. The engine is capable to churn out a total power of 110BHP and 89Nm of Torque. The Monster has also been blessed with an eight-level Traction Control system along with three-level ride-by-wire. This comes under the special features of the naked motorcycle.
In terms of styling, the Monster 821 hires the same frame, fuel tank and the adjustable seat from its elder brothers. The new inventions which have been received by the naked motorcycle are its double sided swing arm and the exhaust tail. The company had also introduced the Euro emission regulations in the motorcycle to achieve better performance level. The braking system has been taken care by the ABS and it will also feature three different riding modes.
