Ducati Monster and Scrambler Series Prices out, Launch Soon

It's time for the new course of action for the Italian motorcycle manufacturer, as it is completely set to launch its products over the Indian tarmac. For the past few months, the Ducati was in the highlights with its comeback in the country. The Italian firm is all set to roll out its entire range of motorcycles for the Indian enthusiasts. Initially, two dealerships are being introduced; one in the NCR region, i.e. in Gurgaon and second one in the commercial capital, Mumbai. The Ducati is bringing up its Diavel, Hypermotard, Multistrada, Superbike, Monster and Scrambler series of motorcycles.

Recently, the price list of the Monster series of naked motorcycles was being disclosed. As of now, the firm will be introducing total 8 Monsters in the country for the naked motorcycle aficionados. The eight products comprise of Monster 795, 796 S2R, 796 ABS Corse Stripe, Monster 821 and 821 Dark, Monster 1200, 1200S and 1200S Stripe. The Monster 821 and 1200 series have made its global appearance in last year, 2014. The entry-level Monster 795 is the one, which has carried a starting price tag of Rs 6.98 Lacs (Ex-Showroom Delhi).

Apart from the Monster motorcycles, the newly introduced Scramblers are the next in the row. The Scrambler is a cafe-racer motorcycle, which is offered in four attractive variants. The Scrambler shares its engine with the Monster series of naked motorcycles. It is featuring the very same air-cooled motor carrying an engine displacement of 803cc. The V-Twin engine is mated to a 5-speed transmission and is capable to pump out a churning power of 75 BHP @ 8250 RPM and achieves a peak torque of 78 Nm @ 5750 revs.
