Ducati is all set to celebrate the centennial of its historic races and to remind its six Pikes Peak International Hill Climb (PPIHC) victories, unveiled the limited edition of Multistrada 1200 Pikes Peak. This limited edition will be available in 400 units and will carry the bunch of cosmetic tweaks that gives the complete touring package a racing bike appeal.
Apparently, wearing the Ducati racing livery, the Multistrada 1200 Pikes Peak comes fitted with sponsor logos, Spider Grips PEAK grips, Pikes Peak 100th Anniversary logo for the crankcase, a special decal pack and a personalized Pikes Peak ‘100’ race number plate. On cycle parts, it boasts the top shelf components like fully adjustable Ohlins front fork and the TTX36 rear shock, ultralight carbon fibre windscreen and Termignoni exhaust system.
Carrying the high-performance powertrain, Ducati Multistrada 1200 has a record of 9 minutes, 53 seconds registered in 2012 by breaking the earlier record of 10 minutes. Till now, it is claimed to be the fastest bike at the Pikes Peak. The petrol powered 100th-anniversary edition motorcycle is celebrating this feat of the pikes peak hill climb challenge.

The automaker will provide the 100th Anniversary Replica Kit of Pikes Peak free of cost to all the current Multistrada 1200 owners. This new 100th Anniversary special edition will be sold at $23,795 (MSRP).
