Ducati to Launch a New 1299 Streetfighter In September

The Italian two-wheeler maker, Ducati, has announced that the firm will launch new naked motorcycle in the upcoming month of the current year. The invitations of press launch have been sent to the media, whereas the details of the motorcycle are not disclosed yet and the launch will consist of a ‘track test for a road bike’. The firm seems busy in developing a new motorcycle for the road to remain its streetfighter line-up. Moreover, the firm has recently launched Scrambler, Multistrada 1200 and the 1299 Panigale, the upcoming motorcycle would be 1099cc streetfighter, that was discontinued in 2013. Moreover, currently, the company has a wide range of models that comprise of Diavel, Hypermotard, Monster, Multistrada, Streetfighter, Superbike and newly launched Ducati Scrambler.

The naked 848 Streetfighter is the only motorcycle in its line-up which is being sold in the international market. The motorcycle is powered by an 848cc Testastretta 11 degree and twin-cylinder engine displacement which produces 132 BHP of power at 10,000 RPM and 9.5 NM of torque at 9,500 rev. The new motorcycle will be featured with monocoque chassis, state of the art technology, robust engine and electronics package.

Furthermore, the naked road bike will position above 848 Streetfighter that will share the same 848cc engine to deliver a 132 HP power. Apart from the technical specifications, the naked Streetfighter will be featured with an aggressive look which carries an angular headlight, massive fuel tank and visible frame. Thus, we have to wait until the press launch to see what the Italian brand bring for us.
