Facelifted Mercedes-Benz S-Class Test Mule Caught on Camera

The German auto giant, Mercedes-Benz is currently working on a range of updated and facelifted versions that were earlier spied testing on the roads. And now, another facelift version of the company, S-Class sedan has been spotted during the testing rounds. Minimally covered prototypes of the car shows some minor cosmetic changes to the exterior, as well as you will also found some new and refreshed styling when it will be showcased globally at the dealership sometime in next year.

As the car is not heavily covered and images are very clear, we can see the front grille, which has remained same as the ongoing model, while the front bumper comes with a restyled air intakes. Some other minor changes include headlamp that has been redesigned and gets new three LED lamps as daytime running lights. The side profile has also been modified by fresh electronic ORVMs with turn indicators.

Moreover, the car will sit at the new multi-spoke alloy wheels. Besides, all the information has yet to revealed, it might be disclosed with some new spy shots in future or might carmaker unveiled it officially.

Nothing has been cleared about the powertrain, it might continue to be powered with the same engine or might get offered with some fresh and latest engine family that will come into impression later. If the media report can be believed, a new nine-speed transmission gearbox can be mated with a different engine of 4.0-litre in replacement of seven-speed automatic and 5.5-litre units respectively.

While the global launch of this model is stated to happen in next year, the facelifted Mercedes-Benz S-Class sedan could also arrive in the Indian car market by the year of 2018.
