Faired or Naked: Kawasaki Z250 or Yamaha R25, Which one will you Choose?

Regardless of anything, both of these Japanese two-wheeler manufacturers have been positioned on top in the international automobile market. They have various products in their portfolio matching up with several segments. Talking about the latest products which have entered in the India market or will be entering soon, the Kawasaki has recently launched its Kawasaki Z250 and Yamaha's upcoming most anticipated motorcycle, Yamaha R25. Kawasaki Z250:- The Japanese motorcycle manufacturer has recently introduced this quarter-liter sports motorcycle in India, Kawasaki Z250. After Z1000 and Z800, this would be the third member to enter India carrying the smallest class engine. The Z250 is powered by a liquid-cooled, parallel-twin 249cc engine. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed transmission and is capable to belt out a total power of 33BHP and a peak torque of 21Nm.

2015 Kawasaki Z250

Cosmetically, the Z250took its inspiration from the Z800 and Ninja 300, as some of the front section is similar to Z800 and rear section inspired from the Ninja 300. Mechanically, it is sharing its components with the Ninja 250R. Eventually, the firm hasn't spent a lot time to design the Z250, as they have brought together some components from the existing successful motorcycles. The Kawasaki Z250 is priced at Rs 2.99 Lacs (Ex-Showroom Delhi).

Yamaha R25:- Here comes another most-favored motorcycle from the Yamaha Motors, Yamaha R25. It has already been launched in Indonesia and India launch is scheduled for the coming year. Although, the sports motorcycle, haven’t touched the Indian shores yet, but it is capable to create a buzz among the Indian youth, successfully.

2015 Yamaha YZF R25

The Yamaha R25 is also sharing its curves and cues with the revolutionary R1, but it is featuring a liquid-cooled, in-line two-cylinder engine with an engine displacement of 249cc. The power plant comes mated to a 6-speed transmission; generating total power of 35.5 BHP and a peak torque of 22.6 Nm. Apart from all these information, the most attractive part is that the Yamaha R25 successfully touches a top speed of 196KMPH. The upcoming Yamaha R25 is expected to be priced between Rs 2.75 Lacs to Rs 3.50 Lacs.
