Ferrari California T has been launched officially in India at INR 3.45 Crore (ex-showroom) at an official event held in Mumbai. This convertible will be available for sale at company's Mumbai showroom at Bandra Kurla, which will start operating by the month of October this year. In addition to this, a dealership in Delhi will also be set up for the sale of this model. Both the showrooms have reportedly commenced accepting orders in advance for the year 2016. This is the second time the automaker has introduced this coupe in India owing to certain problems in its first attempt.
The model carries all the typical features that define a typical Ferrari supercar all over the world. There is a retractable roof along with the 2+2 concept accompanied by a spacious cabin. On removing the top, occupants will be able to avail an extended space for the luggage that is created between the seats and the boot section at the rear end. The cockpit will also comprise a turbo performance Engineer infotainment unit placed between the two AC vents. It will display information on a 6.5 inch touchscreen interface with a high resolution housing advanced controls.
Moving on to the mechanical aspect, the source of power for this sports car will be a 3,855 cc, 8-cylinder TDi motor that will offer maximum output of 552.5 Bhp and 755 Nm. The acceleration capability will be evidently impressive as this supercar will cover upto 100 km/h in just 3.6 seconds. The powertrain will be coupled to the Variable Boost Management system enabling the convertible to offer a higher amount of torque every single time the gear is changed.
