Ferrari Declares to Re-Enter Indian Market

Despite being a popular car brand in international market, the Italy based auto-maker Ferrari could not succeed in the Indian market. Earlier when this brand had entered the car market of India, there were reports about customers mounting complaint against Ferrari's former dealer Shreyans Group. As a result, it had to withdraw its models from Indian shores. This time, the Italian automaker is all set to re-enter the Indian market offering its whole range of models except the hybrid model 'LaFerrari'. The price list for this whole range has been disclosed by this company and the bookings have also been started.

In the month of January, Ferrari had revealed that it will have two new outlets- one in Delhi and another in Mumbai. These outlets are named as Select Cars and Navnit Motors respectively. The official inauguration of these showrooms will take place in the month of October during the festive season of Diwali. Reportedly, the sales have started while deliveries are expected to commence from the month of July.

Discussing the price list, the entry-level model California T will cost INR 3.30 Crore while the top ranging model F-12 Berlinetta will be offered for INR 4.72 Crore (ex-showroom, Mumbai). Besides these two, there will be four other variants offered in the line-up. The 488 GTB model costing INR 3.84 Crore will be powered by a turbocharged V8 engine and the 458 Spider model will be available for INR 4.07 Crore. In addition to this, Ferrari 458 Speciale and Ferrari FF will be priced at INR 4.25 Crore and INR 4.57 Crore respectively. But these are just the retail prices, which are likely to go up after the addition of charges like road tax, registration fees etc.
