There is a good news for the Ferrari enthusiasts, who have been getting impatient to meet the first look of its 488 Spider as the manufacturer has officially removed the cover-up from this model as well as also made an announcement for making its first appearance publicly at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show next month. Ferrari has also unveiled that the runabout will be making its way as the 488 Spider at the place of admirable 458 Spider.
From the visual perspective, this vehicle gets reshaped rear deck vents in order to circulate more air around the force-fed engine. Rest of the features, mechanical too will be similar to the 488 GTB, including twin turbocharged 3.9 litre V8 mill, producing an astonishing power of 660 hp and a tremendous torque of 560 pound-feet. Just like the 488 GTB, a 7-speed dual clutch transmission, side slip control 2 handling and active aero components will also be found on this most awaited convertible.
Ahead of hitting a top speed of around 322 km/h, the Ferrari 488 Spider will be capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3 Seconds and 200 km/h in mere 8.7 seconds. The stunning roof makes this model more unique and will be able to be opened and closed in just 14 seconds after getting command by the occupants.
