Finally, the Fiat Abarth 595 Competizione has been geared up to get manifested in the Indian showrooms tomorrow with an eye-catchy look. Already showcased at the 2014 Delhi Auto Expo, this model will be coming via CBU (Completely Build Up) route in a limited number of units and will create hurdles for the Mini Cooper S in the way of enticing the customers. It's ready to render the glamorous glimpse with new face, including signature Abarth Scorpion badges, graphite inserted bumper and HID headlights.
Other exterior profiles have also been adorned superbly to get the attraction of everyone from all sides with an awesome rear bumper, twin exhausts, 17 inch alloy wheels, side body decals and an integrated roof mounted spoiler. Apart from the heart's captivating beauty, this runabout also comprises the impressive equipments inside to confer the comfortable, enjoyable and safe journey for its occupants.
These features will be introduced as sports seats, audio system with Bluetooth connectivity, automatic climate control, steering mounted control, torque transfer control, seven airbags, ABS, EBD and ESD. Powered by a 1.4 litre T-jet MultiAir turbocharged petrol engine, the Abarth 595 Competizione will have a capacity of producing an appreciable power of 158 bhp at 5,500 rpm and an optimum torque of 201 Nm at 2,750 rpm.
A 5-speed AMT (Automated Manual Transmission) will be available in context of transferring the generated power output to the wheels of this upcoming hatchback. Its price range is yet to be confirmed, but is expected to vary from INR 26 Lac to INR 30 Lac.
