Fiat India has always been seen involved in designing futuristic cars. They have set milestones in the international market for the power and response which their engines produce. India is a big market and people's choice here is more over the efficiency rather than the power especially in the segment which Fiat cars represent in India. This has lead to drop in Fiat's overall sales in the competition due to the highly raised fuel prices and low recognition of brand image. Still, the Fiat cars matches the standards of highly robust and tough cars and working hard to categorized themselves as leaders in the industry.
Punto and Linea are the two cars which Fiat is currently selling in India. Both the cars have been announced for their 2014 face lift and few more models within the same branding. Punto has been seen many times with its camouflaged coating and that clearly reveals that its one of the model will come equipped with a tail gate mounted spare wheel. As per sources, this model will be named "Punto Avventure". Apart from this, Punto will probably be introduced with two more models namely Punto Abarth and Refreshed Punto.
Punto Avventure (Cross Punto) will be pushed with the same machinery which was earlier milling the car i.e. 1.3 liter Multijet Diesel available in options of producing 75 BHP and 90 BHP. The clear image of these Fiat models is expected in 2014 Auto Expo.
