After launching the Abarth powered Punto and Avventura models, Fiat has brought the Special edition of Punto Evo named as Punto Sportivo. It has been rolled out at INR 7.10 Lacs (ex-showroom, Delhi) and carries various additional accessories at both exterior and interior portions. The festive season is probably the main reason behind this launch that will help in boosting sales for this Sportivo. As the name suggests, it is really very sporty in appearance with the use of numerous appealing features.
At the launch event, President and Managing Director, Fiat India, Mr Kevin Flynn stated, “Punto Sportivo is a stylish car and is targeted towards those auto enthusiasts who desire sporty looks. The add-ons make the Punto Sportivo stand out from the competition and includes a host of plush features. This limited edition car will undoubtedly create a wave of interest during this festive period. This offering on the Punto Sportivo is a perfect blend of style and sportiness.”

Donning a red paint all over its body, this model get a white colored roof and Sportivo badges on certain portions. Other important cosmetic elements include 6 dual spoke, 15-inch alloys, side decals, rear spoilers, rear parking sensors and ORVMs with chrome finish. Moving inside, there is a 6.5-inch touchscreen infotainment facility, special flat door sill, new floor mats with Fiat branding and Red & White seat covers.
As far as the mechanical configuration is concerned, there isn't any change in this section. It is packed with a 1.3 litre MultiJet diesel motor that does duty on the Active variant. This engine is mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox and the power developed amounts to 75Bhp at 4,000rpm alongside 197Nm of torque at 1,750rpm.
