Fiat's much awaited crossover car Avventura is finally all set to be launched on the October 21, 2014 in India and this has been confirmed officially this time. The car will be launched in both petrol and diesel fuel models based on the new Punto Evo facelift body structure and three trims that is Active, Dynamic and Emotion trims. The basic Active trim will come with extra spare wheel mounted at rear end, 16-inch alloy wheels, power windows at front, keyless entry, electric boot opening, automatic door locking, two-tone dashboard, rear fog lamps, ORVMs with integrated indicators, adjustable steering and much more.
The medium Dynamic trim will get some extra features like BS, front fog lamps, EBD, adjustable driver seat, rear power windows and front fog lamps as well. And, the top end Emotion variant will come with the some more features like rear passenger air bags, rear AC vents, automatic climate control, leather wrapped steering wheel and steering mounted audio and telephone control as well.
Mechanically, the car will come in both, diesel and petrol as said above with 1.4 Litre petrol engine producing 89 bhp power and 115 Nm of torque. And, a 1.3 Litre multijet diesel engine with 92 bhp power and 208 Nm of torque. The car will take on the mules like Toyota Etios Cross and Volkswagen Cross Polo in India with upcoming Maruti Suzuki SX-4 S-Cross too.
