The well known Italian car producing brand, Fiat has applied all the changes over its existing 500 and going ahead tomorrow for bringing this updated version out of the curtains. Whereas the Fiat 500 facelift will be adorned with a lot of retouched cosmetic components as well as it will have some additional equipments, its mechanical features will remain unchanged. It will be powered by the same 1.2 litre 8V and 0.9 TwinAir turbocharged petrol mills that have already been seen in the current one.
The former makes a standard power of 69 PS and an appreciable torque of 102 Nm, while the latter is good in producing two output tunes, 85 PS and 105 PS. Fiat is presumed to offer two transmission options in this redesigned car, such as a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed Dualogic AMT units. Talking on the basis of the market reports, the manufacturer is anticipated to perform subtle changes over these mentioned powertrains in order to adduce more energetic performance for the customers.
Moreover, its front disc brakes are also likely to be mildly tweaked for impressive braking performance. Design wise, the Fiat 500 facelift will receive a latest front bumper, including updated airdams, LED headlights taking inspirations from the 500X, new secondary light enclosures and redesigned dual slat chrome grille. The other two profiles will come with LED taillights, revised bumper comprising chrome element, new 15 inch and 16 inch alloy wheels.
Coming to its interiors, which will almost remain same as before, apart from including some additional features. A 5 inch touchscreen UConnect infotainment system, new window operation buttons, chrome inserted steering wheel, glove compartment, latest fabric and leather upholstery will be available on this refreshed version. Its Indian launch is yet to be confirmed, while the Abarth 595 Competizione seems to hit the Indian showrooms in the next couple of weeks.
