The crossover car market in India is witnessing the positive growth and so the car makers are launching the new car under this segment very frequently. The famous crossovers which are ruling nowadays are the Volkswagen Cross Polo and Toyota Etios Cross. Now, the Fiat has also planned to enter the regime with its punto hatchback based crossover called Fiat Avventura. This is one of the many launches which Fiat has scheduled for this year to revive its position in the stiff and growing Indian car market.
The new Fiat Avventura has received some of the finest makeover ever with their new front face, revamped grille with the honeycomb pattern, spare wheel at the rear tailgate, lower part of the bumper with the reverse lights, fog lamps and roof rails too. The rumors are strong that the Avventura could feature smoked projector headlights, DRLs and more. The features are suggesting that the car definitely would have a say in the market and will compete with some of the upcoming cars like Maruti Suzuki SX4 S- Cross and more.
On the engine front, the Fiat Avventura has 3 options available in India, viz two petrol and one diesel. The petrol engines will be 1.2 Litre and 1.4 Litre engines with the ability of 67 bhp power and 97 Nm torque and 75 bhp and 197 Nm torque respectively. And, the diesel engine will be 1.3 Litre Multijet engine which is just like the popular hatchback in India. Also, the company has plans to make the 1.4 Litre engine with the 90 bhp option too.
