Ford, Aston Martin, Volvo, Rolls-Royce and More to Skip Paris Motor Show

It is quite obvious that both the automobile manufacturers and motor shows are connected with a special relationship and whenever they come together, we get to see an interesting and unique technology. Well, it’s not as simple as it seems, even the automakers have to pay a huge amount for getting a corner at the venue of the event. Hence, sometimes we miss a few carmakers at the shows. And this time, you are not going to see some renowned players like Ford, Aston Martin, Volvo, Rolls-Royce, etc at the upcoming 2016 Paris Motor Show.

There is no other reason behind skipping the motor show rather than the money. According to the reports, the companies believe that instead of emptying millions of rupees from the pockets to cheer the crowd at an event, it is better to spread their charms on social media pages like Instagram, Facebook, Blogs, etc, where the chances of having visitors are much better than any other.

"There used to be the feeling that you had to be at every motor show," said Andy Palmer, CEO of Aston Martin, which will be missing the Paris Motor Show either later this month. "But there are sometimes better ways of doing it than just always spending money on the show after show after show."

Like Aston Martin, Rolls-Royce and other stated automakers have also made their mind to not attend the forthcoming Paris Motor Show this time. Some of the other reasons also exist there. While Volvo is not taking the interest because it wants to confront the buyers face to face, BMW is skipping the show owing to their busy schedule of discussing electric-car strategy.
