A good news for all the Ford GT car lover's, as the company has accepted the applications of all those enthusiasts who were aching for the New Ford GT Limited Edition. The company earlier pre-decided that they would be making only 250 Units in a year of a two-year project.
But, the growing popularity of the model made the company to respond with a grace and extended the project for another two years, which makes a total of 500 Units of Ford GT Limited Edition availability.
Ford has cleared that the fresh applications will be accepted only after 2018, till then only the waitlisted prospects would be entertained. To recall, Ford GT has been a famous car model worldwide from decades and has won millions of heart with their top performing engine and sizzling designs.
Since 1960's, it has been serving to the adventure drivers and became hugely popular after the fact of wholly American built to win the 24 hours of the Le Mans.
Talking about the technical specs of the said Ford GT, this latest generation Ford machine is equipped with 3.5-litre twin-turbocharged EcoBoost petrol V6 engine that can return a monstrous and heart throbbing 600 bhp of power.
The sleek design and aerodynamics aids to its performance and rest of the look is quite similar to the GT40 model with signature headlamps and tail lamps. The chassis is intertwined with carbon fiber tub and aluminum subframes and and the balance is maintained by pushrod suspension setup.
