Ford Offers Dual Front Airbags as Standard Fitment in EcoSport

Since its launch in 2013, the Ford EcoSport really has been ruling the roost not only in its own house but over its rivals also. With the continually increasing competition in the market, the automaker has also upgraded the unit over time. Earlier this month, a special Black Edition of the same unit has also been launched in the Indian auto segment at the starting price of INR 8.58 Lakhs. In order to strengthen its roots to the ground, the American auto giant is now offering both driver and front passenger airbags as a standard fitment across the EcoSport model.

Following other automobile manufacturers like Honda, Maruti Suzuki India Limited, Hyundai, etc, Ford has also hiked the prices of its models in the country. The reason might be the new taxation policy behind all these changes. Well, now you need to pay a little more price of INR 24,000 to drive the new EcoSport under your own nameplate. Besides, other models have been made pricier by about INR 7,000 as well.
