Fully Undisguised Bajaj Pulsar 160 NS Spied Testing in India

Bajaj Pulsar 160 NS, which is a toned version of the Pulsar 200 NS, has been launched in Turkey last week. A test mule of the same has been captured on camera on the Mumbai-Pune highway in India. It is not the first time when this naked streetfighter has been seen. Earlier than this, when the motorcycle was snapped its was covered with camouflage covering. But not this time, the recent test mule was completely undisguised and revealing.

Evidently, the Pulsar 160 NS shares exact design cues from the elder 200 NS sibling, expect for the 160 graphics job on tank extensions and a drum brake fitment on the rear wheel. In terms of powertrain, the motorcycle is bolted with a 160cc single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine under the fuel tank. The mill is rated to generate 15.5 hp of maximum power at 8,500 rpm and deliver 14.6 Nm of peak torque at 6,500 rpm to the rear wheel with the help of integrated a 5-speed gearbox transmission.

Recently launched Turkey-spec model was equipped with a single-channel ABS, the India bound model will feature the same or not is not clear yet.

The launch details for the Pulsar 160 NS has not been revealed by the bike maker officially. But it is likely to make its debut here near about Diwali this year. At the rivalry front, the Pulsar 160 NS will go in competition with the likes of available players in the segment such as Honda Hornet, Suzuki Gixxer, and many others.
