Till now, in India, the cheapest Harley Davidson motorcycle is the Harley Davidson 750 which was launched in 2014 with a price sticker of Rs 4.1 lakhs and this opened the new doors for a new segment of bikers of the Harley Davidson. And now which is after 5 years, the starting price of the same bike is Rs 5.31 lakhs. But due to the recent launch of Royal Enfield 650 Twins, the prices are rechecked of the entry-level Harley Davidson motorcycles.
Royal Enfield 650 Twins directly competes with the rivals- Street Rod and Harley Davidson Street 750. The Street 750 costs Rs 5.31 lakhs and the cost of Royal Enfield 650 Twin is Rs 2.34 lakhs. The Royan Enfield 650 Twins are way much better than the Harley Davidson Street 750.
The Harley Davidson might not be considering the RE 650 as their competition but the discount offer of Rs 1 lakh shows that there is another background story. And Harley Davidson is also offering much other merchandises. So after the discount, the price of Harley Davidson has been reduced to Rs 4.5 lakh from Rs 5.31 while the cost of Street Rod has been reduced to Rs 5.5 lakh from Rs 6.51 lakh (all prices are ex-showroom).
RE 650 has a parallel-Twin 650cc powertrain which produces 47 hp and 52 Nm while the Harley Davidson Street has 750cc V Twin which produces 55 hp and 59 Nm. The weight of RE 650 is 202 kgs while the weight of Harley Davidson 750 is 233 kgs. The warranty of RE 650 is 3 years while of Harley Davidson 750 is 2 years.
