Harley-Davidson Refreshes Indian Lineup, New Street 750 Launched Today

The renowned bike maker Harley-Davidson has re-introduced its lineup in India with updated models. This lineup comprises of Dark Custom models including the new avatars of Iron 883 priced at INR 7.37 Lacs and Forty-Eight at INR 9.12 Lacs. Some facelift models of Street 750, Hertiage Softail Classic and Road King are also offered as a part of this lineup retailed at INR 4.52 Lacs, INR 16.60 Lacs and INR 25 Lacs respectively. All these models have been launched officially in the country today with significant updates.

One of these bikes included in the lineup is the upgraded version of Street 750 model retailed at INR 4.52 Lacs (ex-showroom, Delhi). As the previous model had to face a lot of criticism owing to its poor performing braking system, the latest version comes with an all new braking mechanism. Apart from this, it has also received a superior blue color along with new wiring.

Speaking about this venture, Marketing Director, Harley Davidson India, Pallavi Singh was quoted as saying, "This year, Harley-Davidson has introduced its refreshed Dark Custom models with the new Iron 883, Forty-Eight and carried out customer-led improvements in the Street 750 motorcycle that offer an authentic, affordable experience to a new generation of riders in India."

As far as, the engine specification is concerned, no changes have been made to this portion. It continues to be packed with the high-power, liquid-cooled, V-Twin Revolution X unit offering 749 cc displacement. This motor pumps out 58 BHP of power and 60Nm of torque.

The booking procedure for this bike has commenced officially and the deliveries for the same are going to get kicked off from first week of the next month. This bike was introduced for the first time in 2012 and since then, its sales have helped the brand in creating a special place in the heart of customers with number one position in the premium bike segment.
