Harley Davidson Roadster And Road Glide Special Launched in India With 2017 Model Range

Harley Davidson India has now unveiled its 2017 model range with two all new monsters on the road dubbed as Roadster and Road Glide Special model. The 2017 model range of the cruiser manufacturing firm for the country will come equipped with ABS and other cosmetic updates.

Let us come to the new member in the Harley Davidson India family, The roadster will soon be hitting the Indian roads along with a V-Twin, 1,200 cc Evolution air-cooled Engine, which is capable of delivering a peak torque of 96NM@4,000rpm. Like always, this time too the company has refused to unveil the power of this monster. As per other visual attractions, it comes with a 4-inch digital instrumentation to show the speed, time, RPMs, trip meter, gear indicator and other tell-tale lights. This awesome cruiser will be available by the end of this month at a showroom price rate of Rs 9.70 Lakhs.

Coming to the next, here is all new Road Glide Special model which is fueled with a Milwaukee Eight 107 Single Cam V-twin engine. The motor is capable of delivering a peak torque of 150NM@3,250rpm with a displacement of 1,745cc. It also features a 6.5-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a BOOM!™ 6.5 GT audio system along with adjustable rear suspension. It will be available by the end of this month at a price rate of  Rs 32.81 Lakhs  (ex-showroom, Delhi).

Apart from these, coming to the running models of the company including Road King, Street Glide Special and the Road Glide Special, all of these street vikings will be seen powered with all-new Milwaukee Eight engine. The latest Milwaukee Eight engine from the company comes in three different states of tune and are claimed to produce 10 percent more power than the previous engines. No heating issue will ever be found, as the engines are liquid cooled and also blessed with rubber mountings for lesser vibrations and a better ride. The new bikes also come with latest suspension components and claims to have 75 percent lesser vibrations.

The Street 750 model of the dynamic Harley Davidson series also gets Graphical changes and now will be seen in two new colour schemes Vivid Black deluxe and Fire Red deluxe. Blessed with ABS and a new Badge on the tank the cruiser will be available at Rs 4,91,000.
