Harley Davidson to Launch First Milwaukee eight model of India Dubbed as Road Glide

Harley Davidson, the famous cruiser bike manufacturing firm, is soon going to introduce Road Glide, which will land in the country in 2017 as the first Milwaukee eight model of the country. The cruiser beast will arrive as a complete built unit (CBU) in the country and will get its position below Company’s Street Guilt Special motorbike.

The upcoming bike has always maintained its cult status in the heart of harcore Harley riders. The long handlebars and comfortable seats makes it a perfect companion to go on for long rides. The street viking features a premium infotainment system with ABS, a 4.3-inch screen and a smart security system for safety purposes.

Powering the 370 kilogram bulky beast is a 45-degree V-twin engine with four valves per cylinder which is capable of developing a maximum torque of 151 Nm. The power is transmitted via a six-speed transmission unit and the bike rules the roads on 19-inch front and 16-inch rear cast aluminium wheels.

Harley Davidson Road Glide comfortable seat

Harley Davidson Road Glide will be available in four colour variants- Black, Silver, Blue and Red. Because of getting imported as a CBU, the bike will be gifted by heavy custom duties and as a result will get a price tag of around Rs 29 lakhs. With a price tag of this much, the bike will expected to compete with other bulky monsters like the Indian Chief Vintage and the Honda Goldwing in the country. The Harley Davidson Road Glide is expected to be introduced in the country by the end of this year.
