Harley-Davidson Unwrapped its new three-wheeler, FreeWheeler

The tough and amazing looking cruiser motorcycle from Harley-Davidson has taken a new incarnation. The company has come-up with a three-wheeler cruiser motorcycle to enhance riding experience. A three-wheeler cruiser motorcycle has been introduced by the company and named as FreeWheeler.

It can be said that the upcoming FreeWheeler is a younger sibling of the existing Tri Glide Ultra motorcycle. Harley-Davidson is having a specific trademark for FreeWheeler name, which indicates a three-wheeled machine. The three-wheeler motorcycles are not just designed to experience the touring over the highways, it's more than that.

The FreeWheeler has been covered under the 'Project Rushmore'. The motorcycle will be featuring an air-cooled High Output Twin Cam engine along with oil cooler, which is capable to belt out a peak torque of 141Nm @ 3250RPM. The 1690cc engine is mated by a 5-speed Cruise Drive transmission to enrich the cruising experience on three-wheels. The braking system has been taken care by 6-piston dual disc brakes at front and a waterproof trunk has also been provided in the middle of the rear tyres. The motorcycle weighs around 470kgs carrying cast aluminum wheels, holding a fuel tank with a capacity of 22 litres, which gives you an efficient ride of 17Kmpl.

In terms of design, it seems that Harley-Davidson has worked a lot in the designing part of motorcycle. Riding a two-wheeler cruiser motorcycle is pretty much easier than compared riding a three-wheeled motorcycle. The chassis of the motorcycle has been designed in such a way that to balance the three-wheeled machine, which will not bother you while you are enjoying the cruiser riding over the highways. It has given a smart security system as an option and rear to front linked brakes to ensure total security with maximum stopping power. Now, here comes the pricing section. The FreeWheeler is priced 24,999USD for Vivid Black color and 25,499USD for Superior Blue and Amber Whisky.
