Hero MotoCorp Files For HF3R Concept's Production: Report

Hero MotoCorp is going to take a step further, as the bike maker is getting ready to enter the performance bike segment. A report from the GaadiWaadi suggests, the company has filed patent for the production of its HF3R concept, which was showcased at the last year’s Delhi Auto Expo.

The Hero XF3R showcased concept was the company’s design and development philosophy which would influence the upcoming vehicles in the future. From the patent image, it seems like a new production streetfighter. The market ready version is likely to be a 300cc-class model, which would compete with the upcoming TVS Akula 310 and the BMW G310R.

The Hero XF3R concept was equipped with features like inverted fork, mesh-type alloy wheel design, Pirelli Sport Demon tyres, single-sided monoshock, single-sided swingarm, upside-down forks, fully-digital instrument panel and LED tail lamps. Moreover, the motorcycle could also gets a unique t win-port exhaust can placed beneath the seat. The integration of a high level ‘Dual Map’ technology, is also anticipated that means it will offer two driving modes and one could be a performance-oriented.

For now, the launch information is under the darkness. However the production model will hit the market under the price tag of INR 2 lakh.
