Hero MotoCorp Launches 2017 Glamour FI at Rs 70,280

The world’s largest two-wheeler manufacturer brand, Hero MotoCorp, which has launched its one of the best-selling motorcycle in the 125cc segment, 2017 Glamour FI in Argentina, early this year, has finally introduced it in its Indian lineup at the price sticker of Rs 70,280 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The motorcycle, which has recently been upgraded for the 2017 model year both cosmetically and mechanically, was being developed at the company’s Innovation and Technology Centre in Jaipur. More aggressive in style, technology and appeal, the new Glamour is a step towards raising Hero’s scale in 125cc commuter segment.

Visually, slight muscular, owing to chunky side and tail panels fitments, the 2017 Glamour received the application of new graphics that is spreaded across the bike and a set of new five-spoke split alloy wheels. Besides this, a semi-digital instrument console is also a notable equipment in the bike, which comprises speedometer, odometer, tripmeter, tachometer, speed indicator, fuel indicator and also a service and malfunction indicator. While, the black colour handlebars adds a premium to the motorcycle appearance.

New Glamour FI from rear three quarter

At the mechanicals, the new 2017 Glamour comes loaded with the same Torque On Demand (TOD) engine on both the carbureted and fuel injected variant, similar to the outgoing one. But now, this 125cc motor is BS-IV compliant and capable of producing 11.5PS of maximum power (27 per cent more power than the older motor, as claimed by Hero) along with a peak torque of 11Nm at 6500rpm. With the help of Hero patented i3S system, the bike is rated to return an excellent mileage figures of 62Kmpl.

In term of rivalry, the 2017 Glamour FI will lock his horns with the leading players in the segment, the Honda CB Shine SP and the Bajaj V12.
