The automobile giant, Hero Motocorp is going to increase the prices of its motorcycles from the new year. The company has declared that the prices of motorcycles per model will enhance by Rs 400. The exact amount of increase will depend on the model of motorcycle and the specific market. The new prices of motorcycles will be applied from 1st January 2018.
To counterbalance the enhancement of input costs, it was essential for the company to increase the prices of motorcycles. The increment in the prices of motorcycles will include all existing models of two-wheelers and also the unveiled ranges of popular motorcycles – 2018 Hero Super Splendor, Passion Pro and Passion Xpro. Some features such as Automatic Headlamp On (AHO), side stand indicator, wider rear tire have been updated by the company in all three newly unveiled motorcycles.
All of three - motorcycles will be powered by a Hero ingeniously developed engines. The Super Splendor packs a 125cc engine whereas the Passion Pro and Passion XPro get 110cc single-cylinder engine. It seems that the new year will be an interesting year for the Hero MotoCorp. It is anticipated that the company might launch some interesting models in the market as well as premium models.

Some interesting models are going to introduce in the new year like Hero Xtreme 200S street-fighter that was earlier showcased at Auto Expo 2016 and could be launched in early 2018. The other awaited model XPulse adventure motorcycle which was earlier unveiled at EICMA this year and likely to be launched in India by mid-2018. Both the motorcycles may be showcased at the Auto Expo 2018 at the Hero stall.
