Hero Splendor iSmart 110 with New Livery and Features

Prior to the launch, the new Hero Splendor iSmart 110 has arrived at the showrooms while the official announcement of the launch is going to take place soon by the company. The very old and popular Indian two-wheeler brand, Hero Motocorp went for its unveil at the 2016 Auto Expo in February. Though the bike aficionados across the country were keenly waiting for the tourer from quite a long time and expecting that the automaker may release it by mid-2016, but Hero was tight-lipped about the launch details. Nevertheless, the manufacturer is now gearing up for the launch preparations as the bike has already started reaching the dealerships.

Being as the first fully in-house developed motorcycle, the new Splendor iSmart 110 features Hero's patented i3S technology. Engine component, this time, is slightly bigger as compared to the ongoing model. Hopefully, the bigger engine might help the company with bigger sales.

Making an utmost power of 9.1 PS at 7500 RPM and a peak torque of 9NM at 5500 RPM, the motorcycle gets an 110cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled motor beneath the hood. The engine is paired with a four-speed gearbox and acquires best in segment fuel efficiency.

If we talk about the design, the Splendor iSmart 110 discards the styling factors of the previous version entirely and gets a fresh livery incorporating alloy wheels, drum brakes, telescopic front forks, dual hydraulic shocks at the rear and a lot more. The new model is anticipated to get a budget-friendly price tag of INR 53000 (Ex-showroom, Delhi).
