Recently, some reports have emerged in the market hinting that the Honda BR-V model is going to be rolled out in six paint shades namely Taffeta White, Chrystal Black Pearl, Modern Steel Metallic, Lunar Silver Metallic, Passion Red Pearl, and Misty Green Pearl. Honda has confirmed that the production for the Indonesian spec will take place from early next year at Karawang, West Java plant. Besides, the company has also invited bookings for the same and over 2,500 orders have been placed already. On the other hand, for Indian market, the production will start in April, 2016 at Takapura plant.

Look wise it will resemble to Mobilio MPV in terms of design and style. The exterior gets 16-inch alloys, projector headlamps, body cladding on the wheel arches, roof railings, plastic under-body protection, C-shaped LED tail lights and skid plates. Moving on to the comfort and safety components, there is a long list of features including multi-information display, air conditioners placed between the front and second rows, dual front airbags, hill start assist, vehicle stability assist, ABS, EBD and much more.

Talking about the Indian version of this SUV, it will be offered with a 1.5 litre i-VTEC petrol as well as a 1.6 litre i-DTEC diesel trim. However, the Indonesian market will witness only the former mill that can pump out 120PS at 6,600 rpm and 145Nm of torque at 4,600 rpm. Transmission will be handled by either a 6-speed manual gearbox or a CVT unit.
