Honda City X-ADV Scooter Teaser Released Ahead of Launch

Since EICMA 2015, we have been hearing about the Honda’s new City Adventure Scooter, which it had presented as a concept at the show. Now the European arm of the Japanese two-wheeler maker is on the edge of launching the production version of the same on August 30th. In fact, just to make it a bit more interesting, Honda has surfaced a new teaser to showcase a glimpse of the upcoming model on YouTube.

The teaser has been released on its official Europe YouTube website disclosing a vague picture of the tourer, which is obvious as Honda won’t disclose the scooter completely before the official launch. The company has displayed its bold ADV concept back in 2015 at the EICMA Motorcycle Show and we can expect that the production version would be more or less same. While this is a good thing, it will be more exciting to look the exact bodywork as the concept variant flaunted a decent stance with the lofty and sturdy style. The teaser captions ‘Your horizons are going to change forever’, truly justifying the dynamic range of experience one will get after having a ride on it. Have a look:

We have brought up to you some of the patent drawings of the City Adventure a couple of weeks ago, however, the current snapshots do have minor modifications from the concept exhibited previously. Honda kept the balance between simplicity and muscularity. The petite exhaust canal sustains the elegance along with bigger handguards in order to maintain the bold nature at the same time.

Let’s have a spotlight upon the engine trims of the adventure tourer, beneath the seat, the scooter has got a heart of a 750cc parallel twin 54BHP motor inherited from the NC750. Matched up to a DCT semi- auto transmission, the mill provides an adequate performance and efficient fuel economy.
