Honda CRF150L Concept Exhibited in Indonesia GIIAS 2017

A concept model of the Honda CRF150L has been displayed at the 2017 GAIKINDO Indonesia International Auto Show. The prototype was in Russian Motocross Livery from HRD Evgeny Bobryshev’s trademark ‘777’ and was equipped with the cycle parts such as Showa sourced long travel inverted forks up front and rear mono shock with linkage, disc brakes at both end, 80/100 section front and 100/100 section Pirelli tyres 21” front and 18” at the rear. While the under seat exhaust was supplied from Yoshimura. All the bits were offering an appearance of production ready model to the concept Honda CRF150L.

For propelling power the Honda CRF150L is loaded with a 149.2cc, SOHC air cooled, single cylinder engine. With the help of fuel injection system, the engine is rated to churn out the maximum power of 9.8 kW at 8,500 rpm along with 12.3 Nm torque at 6,500 rpm. All the generated power will be transmitted to the rear wheel with the help of connected a 5-speed gearbox. The model is set to hit the production line later this year and we could witness various changes in the market ready model. Post launch, the Honda CRF150L will go in competition with the Kawasaki KLM 150 in the segment.

At the podium, besides Honda CRF150L, the Honda CB150R Street Fire was also observed with five new color options. with this motorcycle, the company is aiming to gain the sales in tune of 14,000 units annually.
