Honda Dealers Get 2,336 Orders for its New Jazz

Honda's new hatchback model Jazz, which is scheduled to be launched on July, 8 is gaining a lot of attention by the customers. Reportedly, the company has already got a total of 2,336 bookings for its upcoming Jazz model in India. These pre-booking orders are being placed at the Honda showrooms for INR 50,000. This new model is a comeback version of Honda Jazz which was withdrawn from the car market a few years back. It bears a lot of resemblance to the Honda City model.

This upcoming Hatchback will be available with a range of five variants having a manual gearbox while two variants having a gear-less transmission system. It will be 3,955 mm long, 1,694 mm wide and 1,544 mm tall. The wheelbase offered by this model will measure 2,530 mm.

The exterior portion will highlight a black coloured grille and air dam with a honeycomb pattern. It also features headlights that are stretched backwards and LED tail lights. Coming to the cabin, this hatchback carries an all black body from inside highlighted by silver linings. There is also a high-tech infotainment facility with all the necessary connectivity options. Some other important features include a voice based navigation system and automatic air-conditioners.

Under the hood, this model will be carrying a 1.5 litre diesel unit or a 1.2 litre petrol unit. The diesel variants will flaunt an automatic transmission system while a manual gearbox will be equipped in the petrol models. Looking at the count of pre-booking orders, Honda Jazz definitely seems to be a potential rival for the rest of the cars in the hatchback segment. We hope the model is a hit after the launch as well.
