Honda introduced CB Unicorn 160 in India, Prices Inside

Honda was pulling the CB Unicorn over the roads from last one decade. It has been refurbished time to time with slight tuning to the engine. Now, the 160cc version of the motorbike has been launched and it is boasted with a new face and base. The CB Unicorn 160 is launched in two variants as standard and CBS. The CBS or Combi-Brake-System version is priced at Rs. 74,414 and the standard variant is available for Rs. 69,350. Though, the bike is competitively priced, the engineering behind Honda’s motorbikes is a benchmark, but still it will be facing a good competition.

Honda Unicorn 160 is priced well. The basic specifications of the same include a 163cc engine based on Honda Eco technology, which will generate 14.5BHP at 8000RPM following 14.61Nm of torque at 6000RPM. The 5 speed gearbox will offer decent road manners and riding fun. The body structure has been revamped from the last generation model and it has got LED tail lamp, fuel tank cowl, chrome mufflers, new headlight design and new color scheme. HMSi will be delivering the Honda CB Unicorn 160 by the last denary of January, making it a 2015 model.

The suspension at the front is telescopic forks while the rear rests over the spring loaded hydraulic shock. Honda engines are known for their great economy and power output and it has always been a good approach when sales are concerned.  The 150cc-160cc segment has a good lot of bikes and the most powerful one (as per on-paper specs) is the Honda’s kid. However, it is not as per the current trend of street fighter motorbikes. The Suzuki Gixxer and Yamaha FZ are the leading rides in the category due their solid appeal and great performance.
