Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India today launched the new Activa 125 at the starting price of INR 56,954 (ex-showroom, New Delhi). It is the first scooter from the automaker to have an engine conforming to the Bharat Stage IV emission norms. Besides, it also features the Auto Headlamp ON (AHO) safety equipment that will aid the scooter to switch ON the headlight automatically whenever it’s needed to be. Depending on the features, the scooter is available in three different variants. Below here is the list of all these trim with their prices as well: (all prices are ex-showroom, Delhi).

Powering the scooter is the same 125cc engine, which is now meeting the Bharat Stage IV emission norms, producing a power of 8.52 bhp at 6,500 rpm with 10.54 Nm of torque at 5,000 rpm. The engine is coupled to a CVT automatic gearbox. It also gets Honda's patented Combi Braking System (CBS) with an Equaliser system that balances the braking inputs on both wheels and helps reduce stopping distances in order to maintain its balance.
No major changes have been made to the design, except the new striking LED position lights and a larger 3D Honda Two Wheeler emblem up front. Apart from this, the 2017 Activa 125 also sports a new mobile charging socket. It is available in five exterior colour options, Midnight Blue Metallic, Black, Pearl Amazing White, Rebel Red Metallic and the brand new Mat Crust Metallic.
