Honda Launches Special Edition CB Hornet 160R In Two New Colours

Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India Pvt. Ltd has introduced the special edition of its new 160cc Hornet in two new exciting colour options of Striking Green and Mars Orange. This special edition CB Hornet 160R also received new graphic designs which are also available for the existing CB Hornet owners to apply onto their current paint scheme. Ever since its introduction in December 2015, the Hornet has become the successful product as the company has managed to book over 10,000 units within 7 days of launch via an app.

The overwhelming initial customer response has forced the Honda to unveil a special edition CB Hornet 160R to attain the same huge sales figures this festive season. Interestingly, the giant is facilitating the potential buyers to book this naked street machine via using an innovative app on their smartphones. Altogether they can experience the conduct of the vehicle like revving of the engine, listen to horn and the exhaust note of the bike at its starting and idle state from this app. The 360-degree view feature are also there in the app to view the images of the CB Hornet 160R from different angles.

Offered in 5 colour options of Neo Orange Metallic, Sports Red, Pearl Amazing White, Pearl Siren Blue and Pearl Night Star Black, the existing CB Hornet 160R is powered by a 163cc air-cooled, four-stroke, SI engine. As the company claims, the mill is designed to deliver low-end torque and power and a counter balancer also a part of the mechanicals which reduces the vibration in the engine. The equipped HET (Honda Eco Technology) promises the better fuel economy and fulfills the BS-IV emission norms.
