Honda Livo Launched In India, Details Inside

After offering several successive products in the country, India’s largest two-wheeler maker, Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI), has launched its all-new Livo 110 in the country today. The commuter motorcycle will be sold in the country in two variants Livo Self-Drum-Alloy and Livo Self-Disc-Alloy. The price of Disc variant is INR 55,989, whereas the Drum variant will be sold at INR 52,989 (Ex. Showroom Delhi). The Honda Livo will replace the CB Twister, which has not achieved much response from the buyers.

Mr Keita Muramatsu, President and CEO, Honda Motorcycles and Scooter India PVT LTD., said, "India is not only the world's fastest growing economy but one of the youngest country in the world. These youths are aspirational and want to achieve their dreams with speed and self-esteem. This segment represents a sweet spot for us and Honda's new motorcycle, 'LIVO ', will redefine their, 'Time to Live'."

In terms of design, the commuter motorcycle is featured with a chrome heat shield, side cowl, exhaust muffler, impressive tail light and alloy wheels. The motorcycle is crafted with all-new manner from each dimension as the motorcycle carries an angular headlamp, black visor and side fairing. The twin pod analogue instrument console is inspired by the Dream series, which consists of speedometer, odometer and fuel gauge.

Guleria, Senior Vice President, Sales and marketing, Honda Motorcycles and Scooter India PVT LTD., said, "LIVO  is developed keeping in mind the very start of motorcycling- that is the 100-110cc displacement segment which is most often the first bike of the majority in India. Honda LIVO is a perfect fit to fulfil the dreams of aspirational first time biker."

Technically, the Honda Livo is powered by the single-cylinder, four-stroke and 110cc engine displacement, which is also used in CB Twister. The engine delivers 8.2 BHP of power and 8.63 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a four-speed transmission. Furthermore, the motorcycle is featured with Honda Eco Technology, that will enhance overall performance and fuel-economy.

The Honda Livo will be sold in four color options as Athletic Blue Metallic, Pearl Amazing White, Sunset Brown Metallic and Black. In terms of design and technical specifications, the Honda Livo will compete with the TVS Star City, Discover M and newly launched- Mahindra Centuro.
