Honda Refuses to Launch CBR Models in India

Honda has dashed the hopes of all those who were keenly waiting for the CBR models to be introduced in India. As per the fresh updates, CBR150R, CBR250R or CBR300R are not making their way towards the country. At the recently concluded Auto Expo 2016, the Japanese auto hunk addressed people about the launch of the upgraded CBR, which is presently available in the international markets but not in India. The firm has broken down the desires of masses with this news.

Back in RevFest 2015, Honda went for the latest updates on the CBR250R and CBR150R. Since their inception in March 2011 and 2012, there were no perceptible changes in mechanical terms. Though, cosmetic upgradations were there, but that too with minimal color variations and body dynamics. While the bike enthusiasts were very impatient for the CBR300R that would be replacing the old CBR250R, the automaker has ruined everything in just one click. Moreover, they did not even exhibit the machine at the just ended epic auto event in Delhi.

Honda has recently launched the latest global variant of CBR150R in Indonesia, which has got complete exterior alterations, including LED headlights, digital instrument set-up, new seats and a renovated exhaust canal. Well, in the foreseeable future, there won't be any new introductions or upgradations we are going to witness in the performance motorcycle segment i.e. 500cc, in India. With the competition boosting up every single day, the Japanese giant has to do something or think beyond the current strategies to survive and increase up the sales figures.
