Hyundai had revealed the sketch of its upcoming luxury brand termed Genesis and later on one of the models in the lineup named G90 was also revealed. Later, the automaker had approached Belgian designer Mr Luc Donckerwolke, who used to be associated with makers like Bentley and Lamborghini. Mr Luc will be appointed as the Head of Hyundai Motor Design Center in the first half of 2016. This time around, Mr Manfred Fitzgerald, the former Director of Brand & Design at Lamborghini has been approached to be assigned as the Senior Vice President at Genesis from January, 2016.
As of now, the South Korean automobile giant has unveiled just the G90 model, but soon the second one in the lineup named G80 will also be revealed. This will be followed by four other offerings including Executive sedan named G70, full-size SUV, mid-sized SUV and then a sports coupe car. All these will be lunched one by one in the global market in the next few years.

As far as the G90 saloon is concerned, it will be 10% lighter yet stronger and will be adorned with equipments like large hexagonal grille, LED tail lights, angular window line and chrome accents at various portions. The interior flaunts a variety of fitments that will remind you of a Maybach saloon that includes 12.3-inch infotainment system, wireless charging, 9.2-inch tablets for rear occupants and electrically adjustable seats. Mechanically, it will be offered with a variety of engine options including the 3.8 litre, 3.3 litre and a 5.0 Tau V8 motor, all coupled to an 8-speed automatic gearbox.
