Hyundai Creta to be Appeared in the Indian Showrooms on July 21

Recently, we informed you that the Hyundai ix25 will be called Creta and now there is a confirmation that this crossover model will hit the Indian shores on July 21 in the current year. However, its production has already been commenced at the brand's Chennai based plant. The vehicle will be 4270 mm in length, 1780 mm in width, 1630 mm in height and would have a wheelbase of 2590 mm. On the outside, it will get projector headlights along with LED daytime running lights and diamond cut 16 inch alloy wheels to render a beautiful aspect for the customers.

Inside, Hyundai will offer a touch screen infotainment system, automatic climate control, multifunctional steering wheel and smart entry with push button start. Other features will be introduced for the safety of its occupants, such as ABS (Anti-lock Braking System), EBD (Electronic Brake-force Distribution), dual airbags alongside an optional side and curtain airbags. Under the hood, the Creta will be machined with a 1.6 litre four cylinder petrol and diesel engines that have been taken from the Verna.

Both of these powertrains will be mated to a 5-speed manual and a 6-speed manual transmissions, respectively. Its base variant is likely to be powered by a 1.4 litre diesel engine. This upcoming compact SUV from Hyundai will be acquainted as the rival of the Nissan Terrano, Renault Duster and the forthcoming Maruti Suzuki S Cross between the price of INR 8 Lac to INR 12.5 Lac.
